Q: What are eStatements and eNotices?

A: An eStatement is an electronic version of your paper statement. An eNotice is an electronic version of your paper notices. At MCSB, eStatements and eNotices are automatically available as part of our online banking service. They are available at the same frequency as your previously-mailed statements and notices.

Q: How can I get access to my eStatements and eNotices?

A: If you are signed up for Online banking, you can automatically view your eStatements and eNotices for your Marion County Savings Bank accounts. There is no additional sign-up required to be able to see your eStatements and eNotices. You can view, print, or save your electronic statements and notices… Here’s how!

  1. Log into online banking using your Access ID and Password (click here to go to the home page and log in right now)
  2. Click on the Document tab from any account screen
  3. To see an electronic version of your checking statement, choose your checking account and choose Checking Statement from the Document Type dropdown menu, select a date range, and click submit.
  4. Click to print or save an electronic copy of your statement.

Q: Can I receive eStatements and eNotices for all my MCSB accounts?

A: Yes, eStatements are available for all your MCSB accounts, including your Checking, Savings, Money Market, CD, IRA, and Loan accounts. In some cases, for example with a loan account, a closing statement may be the only statement that is available. Yes, eNotices are available with all your MCSB accounts. Some notices may not be available in electronic format. You have the option to sign up for eStatements and eNotices or just eStatements only.

Q: What if I no longer want to receive my paper statements through the U.S. Postal Service?

A: You can sign up to receive an email notification when your most current eStatements and eNotices become available to view, print, or save through online banking. When you sign up for email notification, you will no longer receive your paper statements in the mail. The email notification will come from edelivery@marioncountysavings.com. 

Q: How do I sign up to receive an email notification when my electronic statements and/or notices are available to view online?

A: For starters, you have to be signed up for online banking to see your statements and notices online. You can sign up in Online Banking.

Sign up within online banking - From within online banking, choose the Options tab. Then, scroll down to the bottom of the page. You’ll see an eStatement Enrollment Header. Click on “Edit” and a prompt will appear. You simply check the accounts you want to enroll, confirm your email address, read the MCSB Electronic Document User Agreement and Disclosure, and click Accept.

Q: When will I receive email notifications?

A: You will receive an email within 24 hours of the end of your statement date.

Q: What do customers like most about this service?

A: For most customers, they simply like the idea of less clutter sitting in the mailbox and around the house. They also like that email notification is quicker than waiting on their statement to be prepared and mailed through the U.S. Postal Service. And, email can be accessed from wherever you have access to your email account. Customers that like technology typically prefer to manage their paperwork using electronic options. Many customers like to receive email versus physical mail. They also like the ability to view their information on a computer and to save their account information on a CD or their computer’s hard drive. Q: Is this service safe and secure?

A: We do not send your actual statements or notices through email. We are only emailing you a reminder when your eStatements and eNotices are available for you to view through online banking. The email will include a link to our website and simple instructions for where to find this information in online banking. You will need to log into online banking where your account information is protected by 128-bit encryption technology. 

Q: Will I continue to receive my paper statements and notices in the mail?

A: The email reminder will replace the paper statements and notices you receive in the physical mail. You will no longer receive paper statements and/or notices in the physical mail.

Q: Will I be able to see my check images along with my checking statement?

A: Yes, you will be able to view images of the front of your checks when you select the Checking Stmts (with Images) Document Type. You can view images of the front and back of your checks in another section of online banking. To do this from your checking account page, click on the check number to view the front and back of a check on your statement.

Q: How long will my electronic statements and/or notices be available?

A: Your eStatements and eNotices will be available for 18 months and will be immediately available once you are signed up for online banking. 

Q: Is there a fee for this service?

A: This service is free! Your statements and notices are always available to our online customers. There is no charge to sign up for an email notification letting you know when your most current statements and notices are available to view online.
